The Millthorpe Motion Picture Festival is a real venue event that will be broadcast live via the internet.
1.1 Millthorpe Motion Picture Festival (MMPF) (75 Gartholme Rd, Forest Reefs. NSW 2798 Australia ABN 88-888-888-888 is organised by the Board and Staff of the Millthorpe Motion Picture Festival. The MMPF is a non-commercial organisation, incorporated in New South Wales (NSW) under the Corporations Act 2001.
1.2 The inaugural MMPF will take place in Millthorpe in January, 2018.
1.3 The Millthorpe Motion Picture Festival reserves the right to alter the rules and regulations and/or terms of conditions without notice.
1.4 The purpose of the MMPF is to deliver a sustainable world class film festival that engages the participants & the local community in a unique program that inspires creativity, challenges & entertains the widest possible audience.
The festival is comprised of the following main categories.
2.1 The Junior Division reserved for anyone of primary school age (or equivalent) or younger.
2.2 The Senior Division reserved for anyone of high school age (or equivalent).
2.3 The Open Division reserved for adults, university students, amateur & professional filmmakers.
3. Conditions of Entry
3.1 Films must have been completed after January 2016.
3.2 All submissions remain the property of the participant at all times.
3.3 All participants acknowledge that by completing the application form & submitting a film to the Millthorpe Motion Picture Festival (MMPF) they agree to the following:
3.3.1 to allow the festival to use the submission (or extracts) for publicity & promotional material.
3.3.2 to allow the festival to use still images from the submission for publicity & promotional material.
3.3.3 to allow the festival to use still images from the submission for the official program of the MMPF.
4. Delivery of Prints & Digital format.
4.1 Presentation materials of films chosen to be finalists at the inaugural MMPF must arrive in Millthorpe no later than 10th January, 2018.
4.2 The MMPF will cover the cost of shipping the digital copy of the film to and from Australia. If the print/digital copy is to be forwarded to another festival, the outward costs from Millthorpe must be covered by the festival receiving the print/digital copy, as is the usual arrangement between festivals recommended by the FIAPF.
4.3 Films will be returned to participants within two weeks following the end of the MMPF.
4.4 MMPF reserves the right to refuse to allow the participation of any film where the print or digital copy of that film fails to meet the technical requirements for a public screening.
All participants acknowledge that by completing the registration form & submitting a film to the Millthorpe Motion Picture Festival (MMPF) they agree to the following:

All submissions may be used for promotional material of the event & will not be used for any other purpose.
